
Emissions Recall 67A is a software update.
Check VIN and schedule→Recall 67A is an emissions software update that sends updated signals to the DEF injection system to lower tailpipe NOx emissions by increasing DEF dosing to the aftertreatment catalyst under certain conditions.
It does not require any hardware or parts.
It won't impact the torque, responsiveness or horsepower of your engine.
2013 - 2015: No fuel economy impact. 2016 - 2018: No fuel economy impact for highway or heavy-loads; up to 0.5 MPG reduction in city and light-load driving.
DEF consumption up to 1.5% of fuel consumed for light loads/empty bed and up to 2.5% of fuel consumed in heavily loaded conditions.

Your free extended warranty begins when Recall 67A is complete.
Once you receive Recall 67A, your free extended warranty automatically begins. The extended warranty covers certain emissions control system components, service and labor. The coverage period for the free extended warranty is the greater of 10 years / 120,000 miles from the in-service date or 4 years / 48,000 miles at the point of recall.
The coverage period cannot exceed December 31, 2033, for any eligible vehicle that receives Emissions Recall 67A after April 9, 2027.

- Affected owners/lessees should have received a letter from Stellantis/FCA by mail notifying them that the software update for their truck is available and asking them to bring their vehicle into a Stellantis/FCA dealer to complete it.
- To find out if your truck is eligible, please enter the VIN of your vehicle here.
- If you feel you are eligible and did not receive a letter, please contact your local Ram dealer.
- Model Year 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 pick-up trucks equipped with 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engines are eligible for the software update.
- To find out if your truck is eligible, please enter the VIN of your vehicle here.
- You may also contact your local Ram dealer.
- Affected owners/lessees should bring their trucks into a Ram dealer to have the software update completed.
- The update takes approximately one hour to complete.
- The update is being offered to affected owners/lessees free of charge.
- The free extended warranty coverage begins from the time an affected owner/lessee receives the update and provides additional warranty coverage beyond the standard emissions warranty for a specific list of parts in the engine and aftertreatment system.
- Eligible owners/lessees should have received warranty coverage documentation in the mail from Stellantis/FCA over the past few months.
- No change in power or towing is expected after completing Recall 67A.
- DEF consumption can increase under certain conditions, depending on load and driving patterns.
